Trevor Castledine.

Trevor joined NEL as a Non-Executive Director (NED) in 2024. He is currently the Chief Commercial Officer at LGPS Central, which manages the pooled assets of eight Central England Local Government Pension Scheme funds. Trevor has extensive commercial experience gained in banking and finance roles across the country.

Previously, he led the portfolio management division at Royal Bank of Scotland before managing the investments of Lancashire County Pension Fund. He later became Managing Director at bfinance and served as an independent advisor to the £11bn South Yorkshire Pensions Authority. Trevor has also provided advisory and consulting services to a range of institutional investors and investment managers.
